The Donkey Long Tong 80cm is long enough to keep you far from the heat while allowing you to play with fire safely. The Donkey Tong 69cm comes in slightly shorter, but still longer and stronger than the average tong, so you can flip your meat with ease.
These two tongs are designed to work together and survive decades of heat, use, and shared fires. Kept together, used together and passed on together.
One manages the fire, one handles the meat. While the fire tong has a shell shaped head to grip coals and wood, the meat tong has a uniquely designed head to ensure it can grip and flip your meat without tearing it.
Both tools arrive neatly boxed and carefully wrapped, ready for gifting, keeping, or upgrading your braai setup in one go.
For at home braais and adventures in the bush. These tongs are made to travel with you wherever you go.
My first Jack Sack was bought for our Manne Naweek camps in January and October.
It's been the best braai tool that I've purchased. It stands up to the torture of the weekends and it is the envy of all campers.
I've bought a number of these tongs and gifted to friends and family and they are all impressed with the quality.
One of my friends showed it to one of his cousins that was here from Australia and he has taken a set back with him.
Our sons purchased the combo for their father for Father's day! Wow was their Dad impressed. It was an awesome gift. The tongs are very strong and both are nice and long. My hubby is tall, so this is great for him. He loves braaing so this was perfect for him!
Love it..love it..love it..best tong ever!..Nou gan ons Braai!
The craftsmanship is excellent. I am very Happy with my purchase.
Wow. Let's start from the packaging beautiful each tong in its own unique box with the best wording on the side and wrapped beautifully. The tongs are out of this world. My husband loves it. And he is adding more to the 50 reasons to braai.
I would include the option for the shorter “braai tang” to have grabbing teeth like the long one. Your grip on the meat is much better compared to the smooth surface. Groete Johan
Hello Johan! Thank you for the feedback. We're glad to see you are braai'ing and enjoying your new fire tools. Watch this space ;-)
I bought this for my partner’s birthday and he loves his new tongs. They are high quality and super convenient for large open fires.

Brilliantly made, and an awesome combo for his birthday. He was so excited to get them. Anytime we braai now he tells his mates “Check the legs on these.” Well done, guys! We’ll be back for the rest.
Great tool to avoid burns and easy reach!!!
This was a gift for my husband and he loves the quality, look and feel of the tongs. Thanks, I was a bit late in deciding on the gift, so the great services and quick turnaround really was awesome. He loved the engraving and it really made him feel special. From my side, I would love to have more choices in your combo range, for example the tongs with the blower.

Warm water, dishwashing soap and a good scrub. Nothing works better than elbow grease. These are built like Donkeys. Durable, hardworking, reliable. In other words, quite low maintenance. Dry it properly afterwards and it’ll stay looking like new for years.
Unfortunately, our Donkeys are not dishwasher safe, mainly because they won’t fit.
